Thank You So Much,

Just like that 18 days had passed by and I had cycled approximately 2102km from Vancouver, Canada to San Francisco, USA solo. First off, thank you so much for your donation and your support, it means so much to me, thank you for not only believing in this cause but also believing in me. I still can’t believe I’ve made it from Vancouver to San Francisco on a bike. This was the hardest thing I’ve ever done but it was so so worth it. I loved every moment, the highs and the lows. I got the chance to experience some of the most beautiful sceneries along the BC, Washington, Oregon, and Californian Coasts. I’ve got to meet some of the most amazing and extraordinary people from all over the world, I loved hearing each one of their unique stories. I’ve learned so much about resilience and to keep pushing no what. I’ve learned how to be grateful for what you have and to live a life alive. There really isn’t words to describe what an awesome journey it has been, I’m just so grateful to have the chance to experience it. I could have never done this without all the amazing people who helped me along the way , I tried typing all the names out but there’s way too many names, it would not be able to fit on this post, I’m forever grateful for your help. Thank you to my parents who let me go on this crazy adventure haha, thank you to everyone who supported me and helped support the cause. Thank you for having my back and helping make a change for the better. The truth is, I didn’t even know what I was getting into, I’m not a cyclist by any means, the most I cycled before the trip was probably just over 50km, I never bikepacked in my life, I’ve never ridden around with my bike bags. I didn't even have a single-day itinerary planned. Sounds stupid. But I don’t think I've ever felt lost, or ever wanted to quit, because I had faith in myself, and more importantly that God had my back. I’ve said this a thousand times to probably a thousand people, but when a lady at Shelton prayed over me and said that she envisioned angels riding around me. I had no idea what she meant, but looking back it did seem like angels were riding with me. When I couldn’t find food, Moon and his family waved me down and handed me lunch, when I didn’t know where I could sleep and we were stranded, Luke and his wife Liz let me sleep in his backyard, when I couldn’t find a campsite, another biker, Jacob, just magically appeared and let me sleep in his empty bed in his hotel room, when I wiped out I just happened to be in front of the nicest driver ever, Jessie, who gave me so much room, and stopped and helped me out, and when I was scared or felt down, god sent people out of nowhere who talked to me about their faith and prayed with me. So life may have some challenges and upsets, but god has shown me that he’s got my back and he's got yours too! Thank you so so much for believing in me and believing in this cause to provide clean water to children around the world. This might all just sound like luck, and it is because how lucky are we that we have a God who loves us so much and has our back? I don’t think there is a song that sums it up better than Brandon Lake’s “That's Who I Praise”.
Two key lessons I learned; there is so much power in prayer! And God has your back!
Sometimes we just gotta take the first step or a leap out of our comfort zones, or else we’ll never know what we missed out on. So push the limits, push yourself, because it’s nice to dream but it’s even more amazing when you get to live out your dreams. So go conquer your mountains, no matter what they may be.
Over 3300 USD/4600 CAD raised for World Vision providing clean water ! 1300usd over the fundraising goal. Thank you so much! Thank you for helping make a difference in the world!
